Magica sat in the chair Ray had so kindly pulled out for her. She almost rolled her eyes. Not even Micheal, her comrad and fellow leader who'd she'd known for about two years now, would even pull a chair out for her. Looking at the small table, she folded her hands in her lap.
It wasn't too difficult to sense his powers. Only seconds ago did he use them. For what he used them, she didn't know. But she definately felt it. Looking up at the sound of his voice, she eyed his small smile. He was almost like a little kid. It was a bit strange, even for her.
"Magica." She stated simply. It wasn't a given name, but a chosen one. She, Micheal, and Dick had all agreed on it. But there were more important matters than her name. This dark haired male before her had some kind of power, and she at least wanted to make sure it was used for good and not evil.
Staring at him for a few seconds, she focused on the aura fluxuating around his body, staying in a light almost reddish fog. Well, at least he wasn't feeling any evil or malicious emotions at the moment. His mind seemed clear as well. So, for now, she could at least relax.

Ray's smile slightly became crooked at the woman's name. It was a very.....unique name, he had definately never heard it before. But still, names were names. Lots of people thought his name was wierd. Ravenir, he got so many compliments on how feminine it also sounded. It was actually kind of annoying, s he wouldn pester her about her name.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Ravenir, but you can call me Ray for short." He finished off with a small smile. For a moment, his mind wandered, straring at the woman before him. She seemed to be looking right through him, staring down somehting more than just his physical being.
Oh crap, did I wear a stained shirt again? He looked down slighlty; nope. His shirt was still blue and clean. So was it backwards? No. Was there something on his face? Not that he had noticed. If it was nothing on the list he just formed in his mind, then what was it?
He gave a sigh of relief in his head as a young girl asked if they wanted anyhting to drink. Ray just motioned towards his cup, despite it being half empty. "No thanks I'm good. How 'but you, want anything?" He asked, turning his attention to Magica.

Magica almost raised an eyebrow as he seemed to give himself a quickl look over. Blinking, she figured it was because she was staring at him so much. Yeah, it was one of those very un-human things she always did. Like a bad habit.
At the sound of his name, she gave a small smile, knowing inwardly on the many comments that they each got on their names. Not that many knew Magica's. Looking up sharply at the waitress, she shook her head 'no' and watched her wander off. Magica didn't need food or drink, she didn't even need sleep. But from time to time she still ate, drank, or slept to make her feel a little bit human.
Looking back to Ray, she crossed her arms over the table and leaned on it, staring at him. No use beating around the bush, she'd get right to the point. "What can you do?" She asked suddenly. To be more clear, she slightly pointed at the door. "Right before you walked in, you did something. I felt it. What are your...abilities?" She questioned. If he had abilities and she knew he had them, then there was no use in trying to hide them, was there?
